About me
Carmen Irwin is a Health Insurance Specialist who has been with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Dallas Office since 2002. She is currently a member of the Hospital Price Transparency team within the Office of Program Operations and Local Engagement (OPOLE). Throughout her career at CMS, Carmen has collaborated with various Medicare Contractors on program integrity and Medicare policy initiatives. Additionally, she has held several key roles, including Lead for Provider Relations, DMEPOS Policy Lead, and Rural Health Coordinator for the CMS Dallas Office, as well as working in the Medicare Part A and B policy areas.
Carmen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and History from Francis Marion University in Florence, SC.
